Going to the Movies

Tonight we're going to the drive in. We haven't been in a couple months so I'm excited to see a couple I have been wanting to see. As some of you know I love Chihuahua's so when I heard about Beverly Hills Chihuahua's I knew it was a can't miss movie. I actually got to do a survey on the movie before it even came out. Looks super cute! Swing Vote is the other one we will get to see. I think it's an interesting concept ... wish it would come down to just my vote for this years election. LMAO ... I'd piss off a few people! =D

So here's a small bit about both movies just in case you haven't heard about them.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua

Official Website Link A pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua named Chloe finds herself accidentally lost in the mean streets of Mexico without a day spa or Rodeo Drive boutique anywhere in sight. Now alone for the first time in her spoiled life, she must rely on some unexpected new friends -- including a street-hardened German Shepherd named Delgado and an amorous pup named Papi -- to lend her a paw and help her to find her inner strength on their incredible journey back home.

Swing Vote

Official Website Link Bud Johnson, an apathetic, beer-slinging, lovable loser, is coasting through a life that has passed him by. The one bright spot is his precocious, over-achieving twelve year-old daughter Molly. She takes care of both of them, until one mischievous moment on Election Day, when she accidentally sets off a chain of events which culminates in the election coming down to one vote... her dad's.

I didn't forget to add the Halloween pics from us decorating ... I think it's gonna be a work in progress for a week or so. We did put out a bunch of skeletons and spider web but it feels like something is missing. We're thinking of making our porch into a small haunted house. The kids will have to go in on one end ... go through the small haunt and then at the end get the candy. Should be interesting if we can pull it off. We have a fogger to make things even more interesting!

Ok ... outta here so I can eat dinner before we head of to the drive in. Have a great night.

I saw previews for the Chi movie too....it does look good!! You know, a Disney movie is where I developed my love for Cocker Spaniels....when I was young and saw Lady & The Tramp, that was it, I said "when I grow up, I'm getting me a Lady dog", and I did!!! :)

Hope you had fun at the drive in.

FUN, FUN. We have two drive ins close to my house, but I haven't been in awhile. I always enjoyed sitting outside watching a movie until it got to cold. Have lots of fun I wanted to see those two movies too. I don't remember what is showing at ours this weekend.
Take care, Chrissie

Oh I love the drive in. It is a lost art in most of the country. We have one in the next town over but haven't been much this summer and I think it closes at the end of the month.

i love Kevin Costner...glad you all enjoyed both movies....i have learned never to listen to the critics because they always tear the movies to pieces. XO
